Ambassador visits Sri Lankan “7 Seas Biriyani Restaurant“ in Jubail

Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Saudi Arabia Ameer Ajwad visited Sri Lankan authentic “7 Seas Biriyani Restaurant” located in Jubail city in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia together with the Embassy Consular Mobile Service team including Counsellor of Employment & Welfare Mangala Randeniya, Attache Consular Affairs Chamara Perera, Accounts officer Kasun Wijesinghe and other members of the team. President of the Sri Lanka Community Club Jubail Lalith Kumara was also present.

“7 Seas Biriyani Restaurant” in Jubail city is a Sri Lankan business startup by its proprietor Riha Mansoor who hosted a dinner in honour of the Ambassador and the visiting Embassy staff to Jubail. The restaurant which is manned by the Sri Lankan chefs, caters an array of authentic Sri Lankan cuisine as well as local dishes.

Speaking on the occasion Ambassador Ameer Ajwad stated that food plays a vital role in fostering people to people relations and encourages cross-cultural interaction between the two countries.
